Solana ETF on the Horizon as SEC Acknowledges Grayscale’s SOL ETF Application Amendment
Cryptocurrency-based ETFs have gained significant attention following the SEC's approval of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) ETFs in 2024. Now, Solana (SOL), a prominent crypto project, is on the verge of potentially receiving ETF approval from the financial watchdog. Recently, the SEC recognized Grayscale’s SOL ETF application amendment, a notable development according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. This shift aligns with the current US administration's pro-crypto stance. Analysts Balchunas and James Seyffart believe that XRP, Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC) have strong chances of securing ETF approvals, which could lead to a notable price surge for these cryptocurrencies.
Litecoin (LTC) Price Jumps 20% in 2 Days Amid ETF Speculation
Litecoin's price has surged by 20% in the past two days, topping $132 as speculation around a potential ETF approval intensifies. Bloomberg ETF analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas have given the odds of LTC ETF approval in 2025 as 90%, with LTC having the highest approval odds among altcoin ETFs. However, the final SEC deadline is in October 2025. The daily chart shows LTC remaining bullish within the $95-$140 price range since last November, but the uptrend's sustainability is uncertain in the short term.
